About Us

Cippenham School was formed on the 1st September 2020 from the amalgamation of Cippenham Infant School and Cippenham Primary School.

We are one of the largest Primary schools in Slough however it is essential for us as a school team that each child is known to us. To ensure this happens we work in year group teams where our experienced and committed teachers, support staff, leaders and mentors work seamlessly to give each child the experience of a   ‘small school’ feel.

Why are we one of a kind?

Our Ethos

Our school ethos is simple.

We teach our children respect, honesty and kindness

We want them to become knowledgeable and informed citizens so we focus on resilience, independence and having a 'growth mindset.'

We are on our journey to be the best school possible.

A school of choice for parents and staff where all are focused  on development, understanding that we will meet challenges on the way but these challenges will make us better, stronger and wiser.

Our vision for each and everyone at Cippenham School is simple:

‘To be the best you can be.’

Each day, every lesson, every experience, every opportunity is part of our journey.

 We are incredible.

Come, visit, and see for yourself.

Testimonials

'...I would like to say a big thank you to all the wonderful teachers and everyone involved in the Windsor trip that 2 Owl went on this Wednesday. My son had a brilliant time and enjoyed telling us all about it. I know how exhausting these trips can be from organising to being there. But they really do help our children to have fun whilst learning, So a big thank you to everyone involved - the patience and kindness you all show doesn't go amiss in this household.'

'As a school, you have made the children’s final year of primary school the best. The countless trips and days out that you/your team have organised; extra curricular activities and even making changes to the school menu. There have been so many improvements which have made a huge difference.'

'Our school is a safe and happy environment to learn, make friends and to build confidence. We have a number of leadership opportunities which include making speeches to your class or year group. Staff in Year 6 ensure we will be able to cope with secondary school and that we are all always trying our best.'

Cippenham Pupil

'Our school is a safe place to learn. We have adults that care for us and respect our feelings. They help us become better people when we get older. We love to celebrate and learn about other people’s religions and cultures. It is so important that we learn about this because it makes us accept other people and be more respectful to others.'
